Sorry to burst your bubble, but MOST body kit parts are made from FRP or some variation of it - yes, CFRP (carbon fiber) is basically the same thing using CF weave and an epoxy-based resin.

There are some body kit parts that are urethane, but they are not very easy to find and generally cost more.

They all look like that because they are shitty Ereibuni Shogun Style 11 replicas. The kit in the picture is an erebuni kit. other companies just make shitty ripoffs of it. www.erebuni.net Check out the website and look at the mazda kits.

FRP is what they make JetSki hulls out of.. it's good stuff unless you run into something hard

yeah, what Ted said =)
my friend's replica TRD Celica FRP kit.... had ALOT of fitment issues....
because it is a replica, the quality is not the best, and the front was VERY wide....

well FRP is not a bad material, as Ted said.... most body kits are made of FRP anyways.....
other friend had CFRP... its good, until rocks hit it.... then that is hard/impossible to fix....
as HE says (haven't really researched) after it is dinged, its gone =)

well if getting FRP kit, i will stay away from "replica" kits =)
