Looking good. I think the rims may be a little out of scale though, those look to be ~22" wheels.

Wow! Looks good! You need some work on the back end though. The trim has more depth to, and the rear hatch doesn't have such sharp corners. I have a couple of pics that may help. Later today I will post another pic specifically of the rear hatch, unless someone does that first.

Just don't model the intercooler on the next pic.

Keep up the good work!

I'm going to the beach this weekend with my fiance, so I won't have time to work on this for a few days. When I get back however I will get right on it.

This back thing will be hard to fix this late in the process. I am aware of it and I've been dreading working on it since it was pointed out a few days ago.

Thanks for your compliments, and I'll be back hard at work on it by Sunday hopefully. :p

Do a simple spoked rim, that'll be much easier to model... here are some examples:

5Zigen FN01R-Cs (I had to because I have them on my car :P)

oooor.. Rota P45Rs

Just some thoughts. Have a fun weekend with your woman. =)

Awesome stuff, by the way. Grade freakin' A.

Well this post is semi long, so I'm split it up into 3 well separated sections. First off: FIRST MAJOR PROBLEM!!!!!

The back, there is a difference in the height, discrepancy in the fact that it does not elevate along the back, which way do I need to move things? Does the rubber and window on the side of the car need to move up? Or does the back of the car need to come DOWN to meet where I have the sides?

Pics below to clerify.

2ND SECTION! EXTRA BONUS PICS!!

AND THIRDLY!

Thanks to all of those who wished me a happy weekend at the beach, my girl and I enjoyed all 3 days. We got drenched on Saturday, but Sunday was absolutely gorgeous. I love Long Beach.

Didn't see any FC's though. Just a lot of ricers.

Alright, updated two different things - still waiting on people to post pictures about the back window issue, and the mirrors.

I fixed the LIMITED on the side, and then also I spruced up the back a bit, fixed the MAZDA and the RX-7 to where they cast highlights when interacted with a light source.

Pics below.

Did some more work, cleaned up some stuff...

Also fixed the back up, so now they lie flat with each other.

ALSO! I checked how things looked compared to a straight side view of another model, and aside from very small discrepancies, it looks almost the same, so I think I'm going to leave the body work for now, I still have a little more detail to fix out; but the body is completely shaped to where I'm satisfied.

i see, im a cad drafter myself. i have been thinking of going into 3D design. iv had alot of experience with inventor. Would you say 3DS Max 2008 is easier to use then Invetor? And is 3DS user friendly?

Easier to use depends on the person, however the interface and design is a lot more inviting and user friendly than Maya is for 3d modeling.

Yeah, the back part where it meets the hatch is way too big. Glad those helped

Worked on the back issue, still have a lot left to do on it, but I think I'm starting to hammer it out some at least.
