I like all of the tools stashed on the fan shroud. Isn't it just the perfect place to put things?

im gonna break it in on my old set up ( knightsport chip and safc) but im planning on getting MS2 with all the fixins. i think i pushed the stock EMS far enough lol 361whp 309ft-lbs

Today I did a bit more tinkering on the car today and took it on its maiden voyage it drives nice if anything better than before although i have been stuck driving my neon for the last few weeks lol. I would shift at about 3-3500 rpm. my dad lives at the bottom of a hill thats alittle over a mile long so i just drove up that a few times and would coast down in full vaccum. i went back to my dads and I had tried bumping the idle up higher but it actually ended up just giving me a 716rpm idle
i think im gonna keep it around 1200ish though, it was only pulling 9-10 for vaccum but it was idling kinda rich
i only put about 7kms on it today. im gonna start driving it around tomorrow
SORRY PICS COMMIN SOON!

Good Job! Sounds like it's running great! Thank you for Vids too...

Just a couple q's tho. Did you put in new bearings? Did you have the Plates Lapped? If so, did you have them 're-nitrided' or coated? Did you do any extra mods to the engine (upped oil press.? or anything)?

I wish I had vids of my first rebuild startup...

Rotary Power!

the bearing all had 0 copper showing and were still in excellent condition so i reused them,
the spare engine i got for parts , the irons looked brand new, i used the front and center iron from that engine with my rear, no lapping or anything. I did put a thin coat of ultra copper gasket maker on the rotor housing where the water seals sit, to fill in any pitting like it says in the RR rebuild pdf
the oil pump from there was brand new too so i used that, its making more oil pressure than it did before the rebuild, i got the solid thermal pellet
in the RR rebuild pdf he was also saying how he prefers to use used irons over relapped ones, and talked about how they often dont get renitrated

they're for fuel. i only use the 2 550's at the top on the intake manifold the 2 in the IC piping were just there, i've never needed to use them , they're 2 low imp 550

i could probably make a pretty sweet water meth injection set up with a seperate tank, pump and a old MS v2.2 ..... maybe sometime in the future

the engine came with that many injectors, theres actually 2 more in the IC piping i dont use.
they obviously work well.
i use AFC neo

arghx wait till I get a real set of slicks and megasquirt, those runs were with worn out bfg drag radials 225/45r17 on heavy steelies.with no burn out
one run was 1.94 60ft i need some 1.5 -1.6's

ive actually been building the car up for time attack/autox. i just swap out the rear coilovers for kyb shocks on stock springs, and change the tires. takes me 20 mins to change
