FC3C 1988 Rx7 Convertible or FC3S???
FC3C 1988 Rx7 Convertible or FC3S???
Ok i know a little bit about the rotary and the 13b and 20 and 26b. I even know some slight variations but in my question for this topic is.
Does my 1988 Rx7 convertible carry a FC3C or FC3S. And is it a S4 or S5 i'm not completely sure. Also what are the goods and bad's between them like horsepower endurance etc.
Any information would help me a lot. Just trying to figure if its worth upgrading or chaining to a different rotary entirely.
Thanks for read guys.

All Fcs are to be considered Fc3s the only difference is the vin, coupes are FC33 and verts are FC35. Your '88 is a S4. There are slight differences between S4s and S5s, but if you want to make real power id say go for a Turbo 2 swap, other then that don't worry about the difference between s4 and s5 motor wise other than the fact that a S5 would be newer..
OH! and let me be the first to say SEARCH BEFORE YOU ASK!!!
EDIT: ok verts are considered FC3C, for what ever reason i have never heard this, probably because if you say "I have a Fc3s vert" people will know what u mean.. but nobody ever really says Fc3s, just Fc.. but yes you have a FC3C
