oh I agree, and I’m not going to use a ARD wing or anything, just something in that general shape. I do think it can be done very tastefully and I am going to start road racing and would like some more down force with out a big funky aluminum thing. No. I would never speed 800$ on a wing like shown in the photo. But hey…wings on 5 second cars are much!!!!! larger then that wing…so if my FC runs 13s I think your formula would actually work for my car. So thanks!

Look in the most shameful RX-7 thread in the Interior Exterior Audio section, they also have a whole thread debating whether big wings like that are gay or not go ahead and look .

"drifting" wing? WTF good does a wing do when your *** end is going sideways?

I'll tell you what though, doing 120+ down the straight at VIR or Summit point will make you think about installing one and some front canards and an airdam to go with it.

My plan as my FC is reborn is to remove the stock wing and install mounts for a big wing. The big wing will sit at the roof height so it gets clean air and actually works, and will be removed when I'm not actually taking the car to a racetrack.

^ ......

why not get something thats functional, a big wing that goes to the roof will look tasteless, even on a track. the RUN racing wing has 4 adjustable settings, and looks damn good. ill upload the pics of the run wing to my geocities account.

www.geocities.com/sleeperx7

will be labeled, RUNWING.jpg

I don't care how it looks, I just want more grip on my rear wheels when I'm driving fast on the racetrack, and putting the wing up in clean air is the best way to do it.

Dear god! Its a 7 not a '69 Daytona!
And for the record, that is hardly functional, look at it again and reponder.

Right now I just want to **** in your radiator.

That one is iffy. I honestly wouldn't and opt for a drift tail instead. If it were another car maybe, but on a 7 the dt is all you need. If at 140+ your car has a problem gripping the road you have an issue anyways. These cars a built for speed, adding a ricspoiler is redundant!

Why isn't this big wing functional? Wow you must be one of the smartest ppl here. I am sure that wing provides quite a bit of downforce on the rear of the car, not just drag.

That sounds like the same retards that are on here saying the stock wing is functional, but one of the big bolt on wing isn't. Maybe the dumbasses that say that should ask Carl how that wing works on his car.

Although I don't like the white RX7 posted up above this post.
