FC Wheels and Bolt Patterns

Guys,

I know that most of you have gotten aftermarket wheels or done some sort of upgrade to your wheels. It has been brought to my attention that the bolt pattern is 5X114.5. Is this correct? If so has anyone made a list of other vehicles that have the same bolt pattern? It would help in my selection of wheel upgrades for my 1987 GXL.

It's actually 5x114.3. Supras and 300ZX's have the same bolt pattern, as well as alot of other Japanese cars. It's a pretty common bolt pattern.

you have to be carefull because alot have the same bolt pattern but won't fit due to the off set.

FYI, stock TII offset is +38mm. Prelude wheels are +55mm offset and Probe GT wheels are +40mm offset... that's all I know

Yes they do. Let me elaborate on sources a bit though.

I've seen gold ones (otherwise identical) on Lexus SC300/400 models. Also, the Lincoln Town Car wheels. Not positive about the bolt pattern- the 5x114.3 IS a Ford bolt pattern, but I'm not sure if the big cars and small cars are the same pattern. If they are, those should fit, be easy to find, and pretty cheap. (I've seen them for about $85/each at a used wheel shop.)

Well if it was/is a Ford pattern that would make sense considering Ford owns a large part of Mazda. The Ford investment in Mazda was Extremely vital to the survival of the rotary projects.
