I basically got a rolling shell.with the TII rear, brakes and wheels..

I saved this car once,
I will save her again..

I bought her from a junk yard/complete..147k original miles.
Im the third owner
she was in the back of the yard, unmolested.I paid $1200. for another "Jap" car/what the redneck owners told me.
She sat in my shop for almost 2 yrs, then we awoke her,she just needed a fuel pump, and fuel system flush and some fresh plugs, and she started up.I drove the car for about 8 months, enjoying a little of her.
I moved with with some "friends" came home from work one day, when they both lost thier jobs.. found my 10th AE gone, and 1k from my FB stolen, and my FB just got rebuilt and was ready to roll.

They found my car 30 miles away, rapped and abandoned.I brought her back with me,and been saving her to be back on the streets. No leads on my **** till last night.

So any info on how to cross refrence numbers with vins, please help.

I woudl like to go see today if its mine.

if this is my engine,**** is going to hit the fan.. and maybe one crooked guy might have to shut down shop..

I really need to find the info,I did do a search, and theres alot of conflicting stories on how to identify engine for the car.
Only real logic one,is to find out the build sheets, which I dont know how to obtain.

Mazda will be able to tell you if there's a correlation on engine/vin numbers. I've never heard of one (unfortunately), but I'm sure they have some master list somewhere, it would be stupid if they didn't.

Your local Mazda dealer will most likely be worthless. You're going to have to go straight to Mazda Corporate. The number listed under the "contact us" link on Mazdausa.com is 1-800-222-5500 hopefully they can tell you. If you have to, break out the "this is part of a criminal investigation.." card. They may be more willing to be helpful then.

Good luck, man! I really hope for the best. Kick some heads, molotov cocktail their houses!
