FC throttle issue

So I have a 91 fc n/a. Once I warm up the car and take it for a spin, If I floor it, I loose all power and get a hesitation from the car. if I ez it in, it is no problem and the car drives smoothly. And I also get like a put-put feel. Kinda like the car is running out of gas (But it is not) Once I let go of the gas and ease into it again, it runs fine. Any ideas and or advice would be great. or msg me and I will give more details about how it runs.

If the car runs close to normal after each time you start the car, followed by the bogging low power scenario then it is likely your MOP has shorted out and the car is running in "limp mode," which prevents the car from being operated at high rpm's. If this were the case then the problem usually damages the ECU as well and both need to be replaced. Checking for error codes will tell you if this is the problem.

I actually meant to say "OMP" which is the Oil Metering pump. Error codes will tell you if this is affected.

There's a single wire right near the leading coil/Battery area which has a Green plug. Connect this wire via a jumper wire to a ground such as the negative battery terminal. Turn the key to on and your error codes,if any, will be displayed by your idiot light/clock component on top of the dash. Compare the codes given to the list provided in the link.

no error codes were given out from the imp just the regular O2 sensor. and the car ran perfect today. might of had dirty gas that is now burned away or something.
