Wouldn't hood dampers make it a bitch to shut the hood? I have to slam mine pretty hard.

And pressing on an aluminum hood is a no-no.

 

no they arnt that bad my friend has a subie with a cf hood and hoodstrut it closes just fine

yea im really curious if the hood will sit flush with the body and not give any sort of problems

If you look at the dampers you'll see that when the hood is about to close there is little to no compression. My hood needed to be slammed as well, it is aluminum, and I have had no problems with them. Also, everything sits flush and beautiful.

Last week was hell, today is silly-busy, hopefully I'll have some more to report after this w/e. The goal is still to offer these as a kit though.
