FC Seating

Hey, I'm considering on getting an FC and I was wondering what it took to add seats in the rear. Is there a decent amount of space for people to sit?

Actually, you could get rear seats from the factory, though it wasn't a very popular option. Basically, it can hold small packages and amputees. If I remember right, with teh front seat all the way back it is leaning on the rear seats. There is no leg room to speak of unless the person in the front seat is short and has the seat scooted up. If you search around there are pics of the back seats so you can make your own decision.

If you want to get them, then you can try to locate them at a junkyard (good luck) or you can order them from Ebay when you see them or post a WTB add in the forum classifieds section.

if you wanna have more than 2 people in the car... you mine as well have a 3rd or 4th person lay down in the hatch area... and give them pillows.. the back seats really arnt much to brag about.. in fact i cant recall any car that has smaller back seats.. maybe a single cab pickup...

the only way an RX7 is a good multi-person family car... is if you consider it your baby, and you have multipul personalities

Here you go:

The backseat not only looks better than the bins IMO but it also keeps crap from flying forward.

meh. Why not just take out the bins and put a buttload of pillows there instead. A couple of ropes and a good knot and you're set.

Little kiwi midget pigmies or something? I'm small, but I'm not THAT small. Those seats were designed for midgets, baby asians, and quadruple amputees.

ropes? psshhh! piano wire is the way to go

if the people sitting in the front are taller then 5'8'' there wont probably be anywhere to put your feet. i had mini back seats on the 240 and only used them maybe 3 times in 3 years. waste of space in my opinion. but i guess when you need them they come in handy.

the most annoying part abouyt them is that the seat backs are like 90 degrees, if they were leant back more then might not be AS bad to sit in.
