just got the car its a 1986 rx7 but the car starts only if the tps is unplugged if its plugged in the car doesnt start. it starts but once you rev it to 3000rpm or around there it starts cutting out and the car dies. the maf is new

 

I remember something similar happening to me. I believe it was one of my secondary injectors. It crapped out. Test the resistance on all your injectors. Also check their all seated correctly. Then check hoses in case of a leak. Thats my 2cents

 

do you think that could be involved with why it won’t start and idle with the tps plugged in? The guy I bought it from said it was a 326 car but has a 327 ecu. Could that do anything with the injectors I know some cars have peak and hold injectors.
