FC Reliability??

are the 86-92 rx-7's reliable, i am looking for a new daily driver, and i've been looking into one of these, i want something that wil handle about as good as my 240sx, RWD, but has to be reliable, the 240sx is just a project car, and my daily driver cressida is getting too old (260,000 miles).

are the TurboII's reliable? I don't plan on modding much, just basically intake/exhaust, but mainly suspension if i decide to mod it anymore.

How about the N/A's, and which N/A models are the best?

are there LSD's available for the N/A?

You may wish to read this thread:

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=59758

all your questions have been covered several times, and there is a search function located in the upper right corner of this page.

And the short and sweet answers to your questions:

if the FC has been taken care of it is very reliable, however finding one that the previous owners did maintain properly may be another issue.

LSDs were available standard on the following manual transmission models (again):

86-88 GXL
88 GTU
89-90 GTUs
87-91 TurboII

There were a few other models that had them as optional equipement but they are very rare.
