FC Power Steering line connector size

My PS line has corroded and broke off next to the female pipe connector. I can repair it with a bit of 10MM 3/8 fuel pipe but there's not quite enough left to get a good grip on a jubilee clip.
What is the connector type and size? Looks about M18-M18.

I was going to get something like this but I'm not sure what to order. Any ideas? thanks

It's more likely an M16x1.50 thread, but don't quote me on that.

Just FYI: For US spec RX7's, the return pipe (32-410C) design changed slightly from S4 (86-88) to S5 (89-91) models. The S5 return pipe is a one piece steel tube and no longer uses the hose section (32-480) shown in your parts diagram. The Mazda p/n is FC01-32-410 and I believe that this pipe is still available from Mazda. Also, the return hose (32-471) may still be available from Mazda (p/n FB05-32-470A). Prices look to be a bit steep on these items, if they're still available.

Another option would be to fabricate the return pipe yourself or have a shop do it for you. Given the small radius bends in that pipe, it may be difficult to shape by hand. In the US, there are shops that duplicate hard lines for classic cars. For example, Classic Tube (www.classictube.com) in upstate NY. I'm sure there are shops in Europe that do the same. I would only go this route if it were not available from Mazda. Regarding the return hose, you might want to inquire with a local hydraulic supply shop about having them fabricate that hose for you. It's a low pressure line (~100 psi ?), so it should not be too difficult or expensive to fabricate a new one.

Hope this helps.

S5

Thanks for your reply, it’s really helpful. I’ll look into the options.
Interestingly my car is an FC Turbo2 S5 and has the rubber hose at the other end.

I’ve seen some 10mm copper line and compression joint that my be of use.
