FC OEM cd player

Does anyone know if it plays burned audio CD's?

And is there an option to add a cd changer? Did any FC's come with an OEM cd changer?

Never tried playing CD-R's in the OEM deck but there were aftermarket changers avalable that used an FM channel to play. I have on in my Jeep and it works well.

I have the OEM Pioneer CD/cassette in my '88 vert, the CD player will played burned discs without a problem. Skips on every bump though.

I have the factory cd/cassette in my s5 turbo. It also plays burned cd's. Same as pmr2000, it skips on even the slightest bump.

They worked in mine as long as I set up iTunes to leave the longest delay between tracks, and burned at a slower speed.

The best burn combo I found was 3 sec delay and a 4x burn. Never skipped.

^ +1

Mine was skipping a lot until I started burning on the lowest speed possible. It takes a while to burn a CD but is well worth not having to put up with it skipping all the time.

4x burn seems to work the best, and the S4 GXL and Turbo had a factory CD changer option.
