fc noob...im compiling the rest of my engine...

As the subject states, i am compiling the rest of my engine compartment. I have a few pictures that i am going to try to post, and i need to know;
1-what the hell do these do?!
2-what accessories am i missing for the car to RUN...(not necessarily concerned with ac and all that stuff yet...)
so, yeah....on to the pictures. Also, this is an '88 turboII. Thanks for your help guys!

parts i already have...

i already have an fd alternator im about to put on...i also have the intercooler, and the afm. i have an aftermarket filter, and cheap air intake from autozone, (im poor as it would seem, for now...). so, i know i dont need any of those items. also, my turbo is in damn near perfect condition...spins perfectly, no bent/missing fins.
also, it seems that i have a couple hoses that are cut, but i do not know what they are...here is a pic of one of the hoses, (fuel hose??). and another one, im not sure at all what it is...one is labeled, (looks like mt) not sure though.

the line that runs to your overflow container (the nipple under the rad cap). The hose in your hand looks like one of the fuel lines, possible the return? There should be two, coming from metal hardlines off the engine. One will go to a metal hardline on the firewall, and the other will go down to the fuel filter (or come from there, depending on who pulled it off and from where). Can't really see much else from those pics. Also missing a lower rad hose

Can't really tell where it's coming from, but that appears to be the fuel return line. The one above it looks like the charcoal canisters hardline for the oil purge (bottom of the oil filler tube)

in pic ...-15, (the first one), there are a couple of vacuum hoses that are not connected, what do those do? (im really kinda scared, because im not sure what those specific hoses do). there are 3 behind the alternator, (or where it should be, near the top right corner i think), and there is another one by the air intake piping, its shaped like a "?", and theres a nozzle at the end of that. also, there is another little hose on the first picture, Runs above the turbo, but below the upper radiator hose. looks like it goes into the manifold somehow, but now sure where/what it does, or what it connects to.
thanks for your help. im looking up the fsm for the vacuum lines, but still havent found out what the hoses do.
