FC needs temporary paint job
just bought an FC like 2 weeks ago for $700 and the recent owner primered the **** out of it, its all in primer grey (F^%$@%! idiot) , so i am looking for a cheaper temporary paint job to satisfy me, by looking at it, as it is now, makes me sick, so i was wondering what brand of spray can is really really good w/ adjustable nozzle for a wide tip spray would do the job, im looking for semi-gloss or gloss paints. thanks!

dont even bother with spray cans. thats just gonna make droplets and runs all over the car. just take it to maaco or earl. you can get it painted decently for like 300 bucks and it'll have like a 2 year warranty at least.

Ok, I'm gonna get flamed for this reply, but I can understant where the guy is coming from. I used to work with a guy who had an old Ford Ranger truck that had really faded paint. It wasn't nice enough to have a really good paint job, but he was getting sick of looking at the dullness of it. Anyway, he went to Home Depot and asked around. They have an aerosol paint there that is just for this purpose. It has a reducer and evrything mixed in there. He told me that he bought some of it, and I figured it was going to look like **** when he did it, but I must say, It DID NOT look like he had spraybombed it. He did NO prepwork whatsoever.
Except for washing and drying it. I'm not sure who makes it, but I want to say Krylon. I worked with the guy for about a year, and he washed and waxed it every week. I can't say that it looked like a $2000.00 paint job, but it looked a hell of alot better than just being spraypainted. anyway just my two cents.
BTW. I think they are having nationwide special at Maaco right now for like 150.00$. May be your best bet.

I just painted my car, you might think it only looks good in the pics, but looks even better in real. It was stock grey(looked like primer) and black sidemouldings. Any guesses to how much this is worth and what i paid?
