FC glass sunroof

How rare are these?or are they common? How much are they worth paying for? I am not talking about plexiglass, i am talking about the OEM ones.

there is no OEM moonroof... there was a few companies that made them for the FC, pacific glass as i recall is one of the better suppliers.

the glass usually runs $200-400 used. there is no more companies that make the glass as far as i know.

Actually they were Dealer Options. There were 2 main vendors:

Pacific Glass: Company is defunct

Saratoga T-Tops: Company is still in business, now headquartered out of NC. When thay moved from NY all the molds were lost/destroyed. Please do not bug them trying to get them to retool and remake them. They want a 10,000 unit min. order.

ROFL!! Tell them you want to place an order for 10,000 and see if they will make them before you pay, then just magically disapear and then they will have 10,000 glass moonroofs they will have to get rid of for a low low cost!

I have the dealer option glass sunroof in my car. Here's a pic:

I bought an 87TII off some guy in Atlanta about 10 years ago. Since then, this sunroof has been in every FC I've owned

I really wonder what the price estimate would be.
I think you could sell 10,000 glass sunroofs
of good quality to fc owners for 200.00 each.
Does anybody have the phone # or company info?

You never know. The way those things rust
and the amount of fc owners there are.
It would have to be something you would
have to sit on to make a profit. But is a
possibility. I am sure there are twice as many
fc owners out there.

This would have to be one person or
a very small group doing this. Not a
group buy deal. That is hard with just
100 people.

I'm 110% sure he means running properly.

And most of the new members here are ******* deadbeats. Ask anyone that has tried to make products for them(hIGGI, REted, Bukwild?, Mazdaspeed7, etc.) It happens time and again you get 40million questions about when it will come out and "i'm really intersted" then when you post the price and offer the stuff up "hey sorry i don't have cash anymore", "yeah thats too much if you lowere it to like 25 bucks i'd do it otherwiese no...", "can we get a discount?", "I don't like the way you did it sorry....." etc!

Plexiglass moonroofs were manufactured last year by a forum member specifically for the FC. And guess what there weren't 10,000 people interested and they were for a damn good price. Pipe dreams, Pipe dreams, that's all the owners of the FC have.

plexiglass is quite less than ideal for a moonroof, it will scratch and fade quickly unless polished weekly.

and yes, most of the forum members are deadbeats but i do see a lot of lumping going around lately.
