FC first start, wont fire up.

I am finally ready to start my fc after its long slumber. I rebuild the engine did a half bridge as well as turbo charged my six port. I have checked for spark, fuel, and I really hope it has compression haha( i can hear the rotors making compression through the spark plug holes when turned over by hand). But for some reason all I get when I try and start it is some burbles and an occasional raise in rpms. For timing I lined up engine with the first mark on the pully then set my CAS to zero and stabbed it. somethings to mention are i have upgraded turbo 2 injectors and a full aftermarket fuel system with AN lines and inline pump, I have my FPR set to 40psi. I have also unflooded the engine every time before cranking it. It is on a factory NA ecu for now just until my power fc and adapter kit come in the mail. This thing really has me scratching my head, if anyone has any tips or ideas as to why it wont fire up please let me know!!!! Thanks everyone in advance.

It also has full T2 manifold and throttle body, not sure if thats important but i will list it anyway.

Squeze a bit of oil in both lower sparkplugs holes. Sometimes rebuilds need a little oil to get started and begin building compression.

  1. Which series? S4 or S5
  2. Injector changes?
  3. Have you pressure tested the intake system for leaks?
  4. An NA CPU will not know what to do with boost. so that is a challenge right there.
  5. I do not think an Power FC will work with an NA ECU. only Turbo. Since there will be postive pressure and it feed off the Stock ECU signals no

I am a a little new to this still but wont a power fc replace the stock ecu?
1. s4
2. it has s4 turbo injectors
3, i have not checked for leaks, right now the turbo isnt actually conneceted to the intake. i figured i should let it run na for the first fire as its still on factory ecu

You'll also need the powerfc datalogit to connect to your computer. Cant really tune from just the handheld commander. I wouldnt bother starting it until you get the pfc installed and setup. Then you can really monitor the parameters for troubleshooting.

The powerfc replaces the stock ecu but will only work if the plugs are the same. As far for T2 and NA i'm not sure if they are the same plugs.

I do have a datalogit on the way as well haha, if you say its best to wait i suppose i will wait lol. My main concern is this is my first rebuild so i really wanted to know it runs before i buttoned everything up. im sure everyone gets this but its making me anxious waiting I read up on if the power fc adapter will work on an NA harness and it seems it will, there are three differences in the plug its self supposedly and all three pins are not used by the power fc. I could be wrong but thats what i read lol
