FC coolant temp sender --> FB. Need help

Hey guys,
I have a broken coolant temp sender in the rear iron of my 4-port 13B in my FB. Rather than risking screwing stuff up, I'd like to just use a S4 water pump and wire in the sender that's connected there. I have a housing, sensor, and wiring, but I'm not sure it will work. What I need to know is whether or not the same temperatures on an FC result in the same resistances on the sender as the FB, so I can still use my FB's dash gauge. Can someone with a factory manual tell me what resistance values it lists for the range of movement of the FC gauge? The FB manual includes this in the diagnostics and I'm hoping the same info's available for the FC. Anyone got a minute and care to help a 13B brother out?

I have a sensor already. I'm looking to see if the resistance values are the same. Otherwise, I'll work something else out using the water pump housing. If the sensor resitances are the same on an FC, though, it would be much easier.

So you want to use the S4's ECU thermosensor in the water pump instead of the temp gauge sender in the rear plate right?

The S4 ECU thermosensor's resistance readings are:
~16.2k-ohm at -4degF
~2.45k-ohm at 68degF
~.032k-ohm at 176degF

This is very different to the FC's temp gauge sender:
~154ohm at 122degF
~54ohm at 176degF
~12.4ohm at 266degF

Unless the FB's temp gauge sender is totally different to the FC's, I think you're out of luck sorry.

So, the FC has both a thermosensor AND a temp gauge sender, or was that a typo? Does the FC have a temp gauge sender at the back of the block like the FB does, and the thermosensor in the water pump housing is additional?

I know this all sounds elementary, but the four FC here near me all lack engines, so I don't know what was originally on the blocks.

Correct.

Correct again.

Like I said, the ECU thermosensor is in the water pump and the temp gauge sender in the rear plate.

The ECU thermosensor has a much higher resistance because the current flows through the ECU need to be much lower than the current though the heated element that operates the temp gauge. If you connect the temp gauge to the ECU thermosensor it'll probably just read nothing.
