Fc coolant loss

I got my motor rebuilt by a professional rotory shop. And now every few days I have to top up the coolant. With at least 500ml of coolant. There's no signs of leakage anywhere. Anyone know if fresh built motors use extra coolant?

a rebuilt engine does not ingest coolant normally. have the system pressure tested to see if there is any leaks.

just because you don't see anything, coolant can leak on the exhaust side of the engine or on the radiator and evaporate before hitting the ground.
