neofreak, you do undrestand that most of us don't have that much money to spend on our cars. Actually I can't speak for the rest of you, but I sure don't. As for where to get the KnightSport kit, I remember a post a little while back where a guy was selling them. I'm not sure if he's still around, but I'll dig up the URL of the post in a bit and post it up for ya. ^_^ Also neo, we're suggesting kits from other companies to give fc3 some ideas on where to proceed in terms of popularity. I'm sure he's not going to do a straight forward copy of the kit *hopefully ^_-, but he wants to have an idea of what is the popular concensus on the body styling.
Peace,
AJ ^_^

I think FG kit would be significantly cheaper to purchase.
I dont care about side skirts, side skirts that I have seen remind me of something off a minivan.
A rear spoiler would be great somthing functional for when were at the track and adjustable to zero drag for those long road trips.
What about a under bumper difuser instead of a roll pan? that would be more functional and they can creat huge amounts of down force.
A more agressive front nose would be nice but so far I feel the ones out there are pretty boring or tacky.
Ok call me a throw back for this one but how about a electric or (eek) vaccum actuated air intake to suck cold air from out side the engine bay. Or at least a air duct opening in front of the stock snorkle? fabricating a larger snorkle would be easy down at home depo since most of us are willing to get our hands dirty compared to a lot of FD guys
how about just a set of vents at the back edge of the hood to let the heat out of a stock hood. something that could be easily attached to a stock hood T2 or NA (after chopping holes of corse) for those that are on a more limited budget?
Thats just my opions

Mariah price $500+ for the pair. Ouch!
If you can make the pair for $350 and the above requirements consider them sold.

Someone already posted this, but I need to again. This is one of the cleanest most badass kits I've seen for our cars. Those side skirts and rear bumper, and the RE2000 front end would look so damn sweet. I love how the rear bumper really wraps around the back tire. Make one similiar to this please.

Anyone thought of an integrated cold air intake on a front bumper? IE, buy the bumper and separately recommended connecting pieces! About the inverted hood scoops, how in the hell does the water stay out when it rains? I don't like the idea of water flushing over my engine everytime it rains, bad connections now? Just wait till rust gets ahold of your grounds! C-west and Knightsport kits are amazing!

My ideal body kit...
I made a little page with pics, b/c geoshities doesn't allow linking of files, and I got my entire website deleted for linking a C5 vs. RX-7 race to this forum.
My ideal kit
For ChrisK: You can buy the Knight Sports kit from, Taka Kaira ...
I really like the size of the main front opening on the knight sports kit, along with the air intake on the passengers side. Overall I think the kit above would provide alot of beautiful curves along with some good functionality...
-Brian
P.S. When is the expected release date of this kit? I was going to get the knight sports front when I purchase an FMIC in the coming months, but I'll wait and buy an entire kit if it looks good =)... count me in.....

Regarding Bern's post of the 1989 HKS FC. It's actually an '88 AE now owned by John Duarte. Some people might know of him (Newark, NJ). He's transformed it to a 10 sec. 500 rwhp monster. The wing is gone and he still uses the same intercooler.

Damn it. People talking about their ideal kits. Yeah, I have one too, but I just bought tha Mariah spoiler... If this turns out good, I'll sell it. Like in some of the pics I've seen posted, there are a few "GT"-like wings that I'd love to have. Damn it! like that Pan-speed one. that was SWEET! We'll just have to wait and see whas "pans" out.. :p anyways. To be honest, I like those ricey "shogun" front ends, that protrude out, and have the mesh in the front. I've always liked that. I think the mesh look is nice. But I saw that fc3s.org said no way. And that's fine. I can live with that. Side skirts? I really don't have a big preference for anything in particular. I'm not that big on them. But! I wouldn't mind seeing something that would make the fc similar to the Supra IV, how there's that kinda hole, right before the wheel well. Almost like it makes a tunnel, to the back. Something like that, or I'd love to see a vent for the brakes, ya know, let air in at the side, right before the wheel well, and direct it back to the brakes. Kinda like the MR2 or Boxter. But then that wouldn't exactly be possible without cutting up your car, right? hmm... The back? I like the whole changing the taillights idea. GTR taillights would be VERY nice. But please, becareful, cuz I don't want to go for the 'Vette look. I think that's pretty much my piece to the puzzle. Although trite, still, my vote counts. DEMORCRACY RULES!

Once we get the design down, it won't be long after that until they can be produced and shipped. Be patient, you won't regret it!

Sounds good about the car loaning. A few things to ensure...
The car must have NEVER been in an accident. If there was body damage, then it more than likely cannot be used for anything. These kits/parts have to bolt up to the OEM spots, and if the car was damaged, then the stock locations more than likely aren't the same. The car also needs to have a pretty good paint job, as when the kit is finished, there will obviously be pictures taken of the car with the kit on so others can see what we are offering. Drop me an email at admin@fc3s.org with any pictures of ideas you have, and also feel free to post them here for others to comment on them.
I'll get back with you when it gets closer to bringing the car into the shop for molding.
