FC 3rd gen swap (i searched i promise) lol

OK this has been covered a billion times, i read about 10 or more threads on the subject although most where asking the same question will it work? and the simple responses were kind of the same... NO!!! lol but that is not what im looking for exactly.

I can get the whole 3rd gen setup for dirt cheap idk the condition but it was running before it was removed w/ 99k miles (guy is going to the dark side). But going though my thousand point check will be the deciding factor to either rebuild or part out.

If it checks out i will try to do the following but what i ask of you, the viewers is to judge my planned actions and what would you do?

Now i have all the toys (and know how!) i could possibly need to do all the swap bs and flanges and conversions and what not. (3 and 5 axis cnc, welders TIG MIG alum steel stainless, water jet ect...) also a spare FC shell i can use for a engine mounting jig.

My idea would be to **** can/sell everything that i dont want or need, and run just the "block" with S5 FC TII components (that i have already) w/ current mods (3" stainless single exhaust, innovate wideband, AFC neo and run it temporarily until i get further funds from sales to buy standalone, front mount, larger single. rebuild, FD manifolds ect...

So i will have to make some adapters to run the FC LIM and may have to space the stock S5 turbo for clearance.

My dilemma, 91 vert, 160k miles, good compression but im getting signs of needing a rebuild and i don't want to fuss with n/a anymore i want power.

Or just buy, part it, sell sell sell and get a FC engine for a FC car and cookie cutter status.

basically, the short answer is, yes, you can, people are going to tell you again and again that you cant, its not worth it.
all you really need to do is run a standalone fuel management, find a way to run the motor mounts to the fc subframe, and custom fab pretty much everything.
but hey, you can do it!

To keep things short-

Your better of buying a set of engine motor mounts pre-made for the swap. There is a few places that sell them. One place is http://motivefab.com/products-page.

Use all the stock fd3s accessories and electronics.

start studying the wiring diagrams for the re/w engine so you can transplant the electronics, definitely buy that engine mounting kit. If it were me, I'd bridgeport or streetport a turbo block and add the usual fd upgrades like the larger oil pump, intakes (with fab'ing), turbos, etc etc.

Or get the mounts and run a megasquirt

What were you planning to do about the front cover and crank angle sensor?
