Its not a drop in. The engine mounts are in a different place. The FB mounts on the front, while the FC mounts on the middle iron. I know there is an adapter plate to mount an FC engine in the FB, but I have never seen one to mount an FB engine into the FC. I'm sure it could be done with enough time and money, but you are looking at some custom fab work.

or you could do what people do with rew swaps - drill and tap the middle iron.

I wasn't aware that people did that. So that seems like your best option, then.

Of course there are other issues as well, like the fact that the GSL-SE engine has a totally different intake system and requires a different ECU, it makes 10 less HP then the S4 NA, drilling and tapping the irons with the engine still assembled is a royal pain in the ***, etc.

I have a friend with an S4 hybrid engine in his GSL-SE. It has S5 NA rotors, S4 intake manifolds and TB, but only 2 injectors and is using the GSL-SE ECU. It runs like a bat outta hell, but that is the other direction you are trying to go.

I can see how much of a PITA it would be to drill and tap like Aaron said, after looking at an old 13B.
