Fastest Speed in Your FC?
fastest was speedo buried to middle of "H" on "MPH" of speedo with stock and autometer tach in red with buzzer going off. i dont know about anyone else but its the fastest i have ever been on 4 wheels. ive been 170 on a 900rr and think that top speed run against it would have been a good race.
the speedo said 150mph but i dont think quiet that fast in reality. i have done 130mph in a 1997 mercedes c230 and 125mph in my 1992 cadillac sts. did 130mph once slightly downhill in my old 1995 camry....it wasnt stock.....but only a few upgrades to make air get in the engine better. these speeds make the biggest rush. but used to closed circut racing. thanks to a friend with a Porsche.

I had the needle buried past 150mph at around 7000rpm in 4th gear in my "SPECIAL GXL"...then something felt different and i heard a strange noise and to my surprise i had blown my motor...i was sad...but i must say the car reached those speeds pretty FAST indeed...never ever, ever, ever consider pushing ur car w/o the proper fuel mods....AND THATS ALL IT BOILS DOWN TO....

I tried a top speed run and made it all the way to 145mph (according to my speedo), the car was still building speed when I heard detonation so I let off. Unfortunately that was the end of that engine, once I exited the freeway my car stalled and I realized I was running only one rotor. My vert has been sitting for the past couple weeks now as I gather enough funds for the rebuild. I thought I was safe at 13ish pounds of boost on the freeway when it was like 60 degrees out. I guess I was wrong
My run 366 km/h just happened to be on Gran turismo 3, my real 7, that still isn't quite finished was good for about 230 kmh (135-140 mph) before I pulled it apart and it was fairly stock back then, just exhuast and bolt on stuff.

The 144mph was done down here going at a slight downhill.
I had to lift cause the turn was coming up mucho fast, and I had shitty tires.
I'd hold it longer now with my S03 Pole Positions.

The 270kph+ was done in CZ tuning customers of hIGGI's.
I got scared when the tach kept going beyond 6,000RPM's on 5th gear...

Dude I feel you VEX. I went 142mph in my 87' GXL racing a 02' civic. And I got off 65, and boom, bursted into flames. Luckily I had a fire ex. handy. Thank God... I wouldn't have been able to see my FC go out like that.
I got my old base model to hit 142mph (at 4am on a very empty freeway, still scary, though); Surprisingly it did that with only full exhaust, intake and an SAFC-II. I hope that my turbo II will be able to do a little better with almost three times as much power, but I might never want to find out.
This weekend, was doing about 100pmg on the 5 interstate on cheap $40 each, R rated tires. Made it from Davis, CA to Los Angeles in about 5 hours. 'Tried' to keep it at 80, but there were people going faster and I just started pacing them. I knew I had to keep it at/below 100 due to the cheap tires. I already popped a headlight, I didnt need 2 blown up tires in the rain
