133mph...

Passed a cop that was on the other side of the road...he tapped his brakes (I didn't stop at this point his cruiser was WAY too slow to catch up) and he just kept on going.

I think he thought WTF was that!

werd...

I love going to old airports and running on their runways, lots of room, nothing out there, and nothing to hit!

Yea, I like to tuck in behind fast trucks. I tucked between two trucks doing almost 90 a while back for probably 100 miles.

man there really isnt anypoint in ging that fast on the street. I mean seriously what if you wrecked and killed a loved one or friend. I keep it on the speed limit unless the cops block off a road for a road race or go to the drag strip.

If you would like to organize your own road race. Please feel free to contact your local police department. Around here they will temporarily close down about 2miles of twisty roads to run on. Trust me they would rather let you do that in a controlled way than have to pry your dead carcus from a totaled RX7.

just shy of 160mph, as read on a newly installed and calibrated VDO speedo.
holy **** thats fast and the car still had a lot more to go...
but I dont think I wanna drive faster on public highways.
it was amazing to me how stable my FC was at 160mph, its such an awesome chassis.

I raced a crazy jeep guy on a long downhill streight in my bone stock 86 GXL, I was somewhere above 110.

One time I was merging onto 495 and there was tons of traffic, and the right lane was open so I just kept flooring it (same car, 86 GXL) and I was doing 110, and I thought "What in the world am I DOING?!?!" and I slowed it down.

The 'vert, I belive I've been around 120 or so down rt 81 with tons of cops around. The car is just so willing to go so much faster . . . I'd really like to take it to an airport runway.

Unless you people have radar of some sort, most of these numbers are pretty useless. After 100mph the stock speedo is off so much and varies so far between cars, there's a very good chance it's no where near what you were really travelling.
