Fastest N/A?

Two questions?
1) Fastest 1/4 Mile?
2) Highest Horsepower?

In a streetcar? Or race car?

I believe the highest measured HP is 170rwhp, Jimmy recently dyno'd his but had some tuning probs so he didnt top that. Im sure there are a few n/as around that have more power than that, but just havent gotten to the dyno yet.

Incase you havent heard, there is a big race on who can hit the 13s with their n/a first.

dragsport magazine had an article where they tried carbs and efi (twm tb w/haltech fuel controller) and maxed out at 225hp on a street ported NA....

are you only going to include power levels obtained on this forum or the rest of the world too?

Maybe you should change the question to stock intake and ecu?

If I only had a stand alone.... ah the power of cheese.

Hey Peng, first gotta say nice throttle set-up, and second, what kind of street port (just wondering if you know if it was a massive port job).

The article has quite a bit of information in it, contact kahren, I believe he scanned it.

From what I remember it's just a street port 6 port motor, they were doing some carb comparisons on the engine then decided to throw efi into the mix, and they even kept the dizzy setup when they ran 225hp running only a haltech fuel controller. More power should be possible with more tuning on the ignition side of things and more extreme porting.

Thanks, I just hope it performs as good as it looks
