Fan or fan clutch bad?

Well, I went under the car today. Looking around to see if anything was wrong.... sprayed the hoses to see if there was any leaks - none - so... I checked the fan one more time.

I had put my hand down there, and the fan stopped <> just like that. Is that good or bad? Is that suppose to happen?

Ok, so in this case, should I just go ahead with the elec. fan ??

That is for sure the fan clutch being bad. You can either replace the clutch, or go electric fan. I personally went e-fan for awhile, but the A/C wound't work as well with it as it did with the stock one, so I went back to the stock setup.
