Fan clutch...

I'm almost 100% positive it is a heat issue that is causing my car to act the way it does. It runs fine first 5 to 10 minutes of the drive then it gradually gets worse the longer i go untill i stop and sit for a couple hours for it to cool off (which means i'm staying pretty close to home). I know there is plenty of anti-freeze, and i know the water pump and thermostat are good. My next question is could it be the fan clutch? If a fan clutch is bad will it still spin while the car is running? Will i be able to spin it freely with the motor off?

ya you can still spin the fan whenever..
however, how old is the engine? what's the milage? possibly coolant seals? Im having the same heating problem you are describing too, and im thinking coolant seals, if everything else is good.

just a thought

Been watching for leaks like a hawk, can't find a one. So good or bad the fan will freespin? If so how do i tell if its bad?

odo reads 129536, but it hasent changed since ive started driving it wich means it is wrong...i just dont know how wrong.

What do you mean by "gets worse"? Does the temp go up, or does the engine start to run badly? If it's the latter that's not likely to have anything to do with the coolant temp, and definitely nothing to do with the fan.

It runs worse the longer you drive it but the temp gauge doesnt go higher.

Nothing wrong with the cooling system them.

You need to explain what you mean by "runs worse", because that could be anything.
