Falken Tires/Drift Showoff!!
hey guys I’m wandering will drifting help decrease time on the racing curse or is just for showoff?
And BTW drug racing sucks. Only tests the narrow aspect of the car hence mostly power of the engine and drive train. It does not test drivers ability, the drug events is all about cars not drivers. And I think it should be about both.

In my (tiny bit of) experience, it slows you down bigtime if you try to drift most corners. There are some corners, however, that BEG for you to drift, where you keep an obscenely high speed through the entire corner, while a typical driver would brake before and then have to play catch up.
So, in short, it's good to do but only on the odd corner that you know it will work on. Showy drift driving, getting sideways on every corner, is slower than mud.

And these is the only videos i could find of a 90mph initiated drift

Thoes videos didn't work. Have you seen the "classic" orange supra?, he has to be going 100+mph.
I have never drifted a corner at 90+ but I have gotten a lot oversteer at those speeds. Looking out the side windows to see whare you are going while driving somone else's car is not a good feeling.

Ive been watching initial D for quite some time and fail to see what "trend" ive jumped on. Yes my title is White Comet, but Initial D is NOT about showboat drifting.
