I am not running them personally but most of my friends do and they seem to like them.
a lot of people get the Zieks not the azenis and say they are real good especially in the rain.

I had Ziex's, they sucked, hydroplaning everywhere, noisy, followed railroad tracks, didn't stick too well..
Replaced them with RE730's and I'm so much happier.
My friend has Azenis's on his Miata and likes them though.

I've ridden in a prepped 90 GTU while it was being "driven in anger", and let me tell you, these tires STICK. Brian Smith, a Pensacola cat, has them, and says that they wear very well, and are "pretty good" in the rain. They look cool as hell, too.
HIGHLY recommended.

I have a set of AVS Intermediates on my WRX, and the car is glued to the road like no other. They have enough grip to lift the inside rear tire off the ground on hard cornering and the car will still track through with no drama.
I've heard nothing but good things about the Azenis when it comes to dry grip, and I'm seriously considering a set when the AVSi's are done for.

i have some azenis
for the price you cant really get a better tire, i have them in a 205/50/15, it puts a totally different feel to the car. the sidewalls are VERY stiff so it reduced body roll, and you can literally feel them gripping when you take a turn hard.
they also hold up good in the rain, no hydroplaning from what i've experienced. The tire is 200 treadwear, camber really kills it. and they suck for launching..

I've got the Falken Azenis on my GTU (the car Brandon was referring to) and I'n VERY happy with them.
In the dry, you can't ask for a better tire.
In the wet, they do tend to skate a little bit.
I've had the fronts on for a year of 600 mile weeks, several road trips and good number of autocrosses. The first set of rears wore out prematurely due to too much camber.
Currently, I'm running 225/45-17's in the front and 245/45-17's in the rear.
