Go to autotrader, find a 10th AE, go to model info and look at the base MSRP

what....like when it was BRAND new?

In one of my parts cars (89 GXL) I found an original sales receipt....$29,7XX.XX back in 1989. That was an N/A luxury model....so I'd expect the 10THAE to be plus 30K easily at that time.

BTW - this is CDN funds.

depending on options (there were a couple 10AE options like ABS) they were in the high 20's I believe at the least.

The price of the 10th AE when new was a base price of $24650.00, with most also coming with the optional Ultra-sonic /glass breakage sensors for $88 more.

This included standard the Air Cond, AM/FM Stereo/Cassette, power Windows, power mirrors, passengers door power lock, Cruise control, AE package (that included the red 10thAE Pillow and other goodies).

Wow, I didn't realize these car were so expensive. 25k in '88 translates to 40k in 2005. The 89 that was 30k translates so something like 46k. Of course the 3rd gen comes out to more like 50-55k.
