the fack! Car wont stop breaking!

Even in storage, it's dying! When I put it there, suer there was an exhaust leak, rusting, bald rears. You know, stuff to fix when i get money. This weekend I wanted to start it up and get the internals warmed up for the first time in a couple of months. It starts with the help of my mom's car, so I put it into reverse as to not stink up the garage. Car wont budge. Was fighting against the rear brakes really hard. Great, rear caliper frozen. Then i noticed gasoline pissing out from near the driver side rear wheel. Great, now a fuel line or (god forbid) the fuel pump... Went to check out the f/p, lo and behold, all the screws are stripped and rusted on.

Ugh.

So, now, is it possible to retap the gastank? And how much are rear caliper set's going for?

easy lesson: don't store a car with the parking brake engaged. Chalk the wheels instead.

The FP cover screws are frequently as you desribe. Sears sells a product for $20 to get those out. Then, simply put bolts in their place.

I am betting on a rusted out fuel line.
