F.S.M redesign question

So I'm OCD, with meds it's manageable. The factory service manual while EXTREMELY handy it's hard to search in it because they are scans. I am almost to the point of redesigning it so it is searchable. Would this be of any interest to anyone to have a copy?

OMG, IMO, you would be the ****. I've been wanting to do this for a while, never had the time to do it.

The Haynes manual is essentially a redesigned FSM with more description and a more helpful index. It's not perfect but I find it far more handy then the FSM.

When I bought my S4 last year, I also bought an original 1988 small-format FSM. I also have the original small-format 1990 FSM from my previous S5 car. The odd thing is that the '90 manual is much better organized and includes a fairly useful index, while the '88 does not.

I guess what I'm saying is you should focus your project on the S4 manuals since the S5s probably don't need as much help. If you created a good index for the 1988 manual, I'd be interested.

The FC manuals are very very simple to use, so I am not sure why anyone would want to change it.
