Angry F$#king headlight

Worked perfect all day today.

Was on my way back from the city, hit a **** load of bumps. I get out of my car when I'm back home and notice my passenger side headlight is down. So I flick the lights down, left goes down, flick it on, left comes up, right doesnt. I can lift the right and push it back down, but once I hit a bump it will come back down.

Did something come loose? Anyone know what it can be?

Look down in there with a flashlight. There should be a long rod and a short rod attached to the actuator. See if they came off.

So have you taken a look at the Factory Service Manual (FSM) as sugested by NZ? It has a very good diagram/picture to show you want you need to know rather then bumping your thread over and over.

go to page 40

If you open your headlight, and look down the drivers side of your passenger side headlight. There is a rod from the side of the headlight assembly that goes straight down to the small motor that actuates your lights. This rod may not be connected properly. Make sure that it is. (I think it's just a single nut holding it to the motor)

The nut somehow feel off, so its only one nut thats holding the piece together. It took me about 5 minutes to find it, and put it back together. I just have to find a nut to hold it in place because I'm afraid one bump will knock the rod off.
