f$@ked up my tps =(

well crap! I was doing the tb mod to my '90 GXL and I managed to **** up my corse tps (Series 5 with the dual tps)

Is there any way I can take apart the sensor its self because it still kinda works (woln't spring out if its pushed all the way down) so Iam thinking I could just replace the spring... any whay I can salvage it?

thx guys

Damn! I was going to do that to mine next week when I get the car....

Let that be a lesson to us. A TPS costs around 100 bucks, but a lesson learn in the process is priceless!!!

Shame on you for buying from the dealer, you should never pay more then about $250 on a bad day.

Look on ebay, I always see them on there for like $10-$25. Or just go to a junkyard and get one. Sure theyre used, but Id rather put 2 or 3 used ones on (not that the used ones will break, but might), and speng like $50 tops, than buy a new one for $300+. I may have one laying around, I'll get back to you.
