Extremely confused, overheating engine....
My car is overheating.... bad. I cranked it to see if it bubbled in the coolant and it didn't before I left. (Checked to make sure my block weld seals still were holding up). Then I drove 3 miles and it was already overheating. My water pump is working, my thermostat is working. My rad cap is holding pressure. I have no idea what else to check or where else to start. Any ideas?

just throwing this out there, maybe my ignorance isn't just for me. I installed an electric fan and for the first couple days i was running it i kept getting high temps, turns out i had it wired up backwards and instead of pulling air through the radiator it was blowing hot air onto it... just a thought

Hmm, I don't think so. I bought the car with the efan hooked up. It is working, and I'm pretty sure right. Now that you say that though I'm going to have to go outside and check lol.
