Exhuast that isnt loud

I just bought an 87 rx-7 sport, and the cats are probably clogged. I want to get performance exhuast for it, but I DO NOT want it to be loud. What is a good exhuast that isnt expensive that isnt too loud?

Also, is it a good idea to put a adapter on the MAF and put a cone filter onto the adapter? I have that setup in my 323 and it would work perfect in the rx7 so I want to swap it. Would that be a good idea?

Thanks

Try the borla or the Racing beat catback systems, with Bonez or Random Tech cats.

go for it with the adapter for the cone filter. lets it breathe a little better.

Stock exhaust isn't loud, but people certainly look when I stomp on it. I would like to get away with things without attracting attention.

It is a good point thought. All exausts have a point where it is the absolute quietist. This is just a tap of the peddle. It is actually louder when the your foot is off because it is decelerating. Either shift into neutral or find this point.
