Exhaust Width Sizes That Fit?
For those of you running apexi or other mufflers that are similar to that, what widths are you running? Anyone know what the largest cannister that will fit in there? I'm trying to put together a custom system and am not totally sure about the sizes that fit. Right now I'm looking at Bomz Racing GT Spec dual mufflers 2.5" inlet, 4.5" tips and 6" wide. Any help is appreciated, thx

My HKS Carbon-Ti muffler is 170mm in diameter, that's roughly 6.7 inches. It fits with a little room to spare. I don't think you're going to have any problems fitting 6" cannisters.

Nothing is wrong with bomz, anyone that tells you to not put anything on other than racingbeat or something that is so quiet that you dont hear it is just a person that prefers stock or something close to it. The thing about mufflers are that they are all the same.....It doesnt matter if you have a bomz or an apexi or an hks or some muffler from APC.... As long as they are a straight through design then they will all preform the same give or take 2hp. Like i said i have an apexi dunk and i love it....but if i went cheap then i would get a bomz gt spec muffler...no ****.
Oh an one more thing is that one thing about mufflers is the size.... I have a turbo dunk muffler....about as big as you can fit under the muffler area....it is the deepest thing youll hear. If you get an N1 style muffler then its gonna be high pitched and sometimes raspy.
