IIRC for tuning purposes you want to have it around 1380 degrees during WOT.

During hard driving through alaskan hills ive seen up to 1500 degrees. Im not saying thats the limit, but my car is fine and its been there a couple times.

oh man, I keep blowing exhaust gaskets, so I bought some stuff called permatex ultra copper high temp silicone gasket maker. I still put in a new gasket but I also put some of that around it hoping it would make a better seal. But it says it only goes up to 700 degress F (371 C) Should I start heading to the car parts store again?
