exhaust question for ported engine
just got my rebuilt / street port back from kd rotary (plug! haha) ... and its freaking awesome... only drawback, not breaking 4k rpms for 1000 miles...
my exhaust question:
im running stock exhaust right now (not stock intake, just a cone on there)...
i want to open up the exhaust, and i want to run the racing beat headers and mufflers (why not the y-pipe too) but i want to retain my cats for emissions (nj is a bastard)
i know with a street port emissions will be tough, but i was going to try the alcohol trick...
anyway, how can i retain cats with a racing beat setup? anyone do this? i dont want to be ricer loud, i just want to squeeze all the HP gain i can out of it
thanks
