Go for headers and a presilencer
And if emissions isnt an issue then go for Mazdatrix true duals

He's got it on the nose. If you go with true duals you will need to wire your 5th and 6th ports open(or find some other way of getting them open), but if you get the presilencer from racing beat for an NA, then it will act as if the cat's were still there. If you don't have emissions then go ahead and ditch the cats completely. It will be kinda loud with the header's/pre-silencer, but definately not nearly as loud as true duals. True duals are about as loud as it gets.

OH HELL!!! NO!!!!!!

UMmm well first of all you are wrong about the information you gave on the true duals. I have already said this before if you don't own them don't talk about them in detail or at all.

FIrst of all both a header/pre-silencer combo and the duals will be able to actuate your auxilary ports. THERE IS YOUR FIRST EROR

Second of all the DUALS is not as LOUD as it gets. That is your second mistake. I don't care if that is your oppinion that is simply not true. Unless you have heard each and every single combination of exhausts on the market you can not even say something is louder than anything else.

READ my SIG if you want an oppinion on what is loud. I will ask wankel7 to lend me his tape of his N1's so I can upload it for you all and you can see the actual VOLUME of the N1's is much greater than the Duals even when comparing TII N1's to the N/a duals. I am also 80% sure that Wankel7's exhaust was still equiped with a bonez hi-flow cat. Munch on that for a while...

To the original poster of this thread: If you get any aftermarket exhaust system your exhaust will almost 99% of the time get louder. But I am sure that there are many people on this forum that use the Header/silencer combo that would definately not rank it a a TOO LOUD option. As for the Duals you should check out www.mazdatrix.com in the racing exhaust section for the Uncollected system "True Duals" I personaly own this system as do others on this forum and the majority do infact like them. There is one main person which does not like them I will leave him to his own devices and if he wishes to chime in you will know it because of his rather trite responces about the exhuast system and his attitude towards it. The only factor that I will tell you might and probably hold you up from getting this system is the sheer cost of it. Since most people do not have 1300 or 1500 dollars laying around they will not even consider it as an option. You may make the final descission concerning this matter since it is your car and money.

All you have to do is save up for them if you really want them. But be prepare for the persecution of "HIM" if you get them. How hatred can grow for somehting that actually does a damned good job.

????????????
I have a custom homemade single exhaust, the original exhaust had no thingies to actuate the 5/6th ports, it is controlled by some ***** in the rats nest even when you want them to open.
My car is european and therefore it has butterflies for the aux.ports and not sleeves like you do, it totally different and i love it

About true duals being loud, I believe you Santiago. Less restrictive exhausts on a wankel = loudashell
Mine is 2.5 inch all the way from the collected header of unknown origin to the rear unsilenced but it has two resonators. I was at the racetrack a month ago and the DBMeter read 96db and I wasnt even trying that hard as the limit for the day was 95. They let me drive anyways, so I guess that some Hondaguys are cool(their clubday)

I am guessing that euro-spec FC's have a different system for that. But as far as I know which is comming from My two FC's and my friends and most of what I have read on-line.
