Question Exhaust port differences?

Ok, I am sure this is a newb question, but can anyone elaborate on the differences of the exh ports on the 13b? I am speaking about the n/a to 13b-r/13b-rew port difference.

I've searched around a bit, but i didn't find much. I am to roughly understand that there are 'baffels' on the port 'insert' that affect flow, on the n/a that is not conducive to using these housings for turbo builds? I am pretty confused on it.
Can you change 'baffels', to a 13b/13b-rew style, and cure this problem? What got me to posting this, is because I was looking for some porting diagrams for the 13b n/a, but i could only find 13b-r/13brew ones.

I am probably speaking out of my anus from about paragraph one lol, so will a guru, or two step in and give me some fact please?

Thanks guys.

SEARCH.

This has been cover many times in numerous threads in the past.
Read more and ask less questions.

The port timing is similar, if not identical to almost all the 86+13B engines, turbo or non-turbo.
Port inserts are different.
Pics of the inserts are all over the place.

Yes, you can switch them.

You're talking about the diffusers?

That's the main difference other than size between the turbo/na ports.

Thanks guys. Yeah I was speaking of the diffusers. I tried using exhaust port difference, and similar inputs into the search command, but it was mainly pulling posts on people's modifications to their current ports.

Sorry for re-asking a common question. Is there honestly a big difference between the flow of n/a and turbo diffusers?
