Exhaust manifold Stud Replacement

Car: 1988 GTU (N/a)

The exhaust manifold stud that connects to the precat is stripped. Is this replaceable or do I need to find a whole used manifold to replace it?

If it is replaceable, where might I get the stud?

Thanks =)

It's an M10 x 1.25 I think. double check the pitch though. I found replacements at a local hardware store.

To remove it, thread two M10 nuts on there. then use two wrenches to tighten the nuts together. Then use one wrench on one of the nuts that are now stuck together. That will loosen up the stud.

if the threads are completely toast you could try a vice grip to get it out. last resort is drilling and tapping

there are also stud remover sockets you can get at some auto parts stores and tool stores.

Awesome, thanks for the responses. I will see if I can get it out and find one to replace it.
