Exhaust Leak vs. A/F Ratio

I have an exhaust leak in between my ex.manifold and block. I recently picked up a plx m5000 and would like to know if the ex.leak would mess up the a/f readings. My guess is that it will screw up the idle reading, but not the under load reading...just a guess though. Anyone have a clue?

What do you mean by "mess up the a/f readings"? The AFR will indicate what it indicates. I don't think is see the point.

The exhaust should be under significant pressure leaving, and certainly not a vacuum. Exhaust gas will leak out, but you shouldn't be getting any fresh air coming in.

I can't imagine it would mess up the A/F readings.

Evil Aviator, do you agree with Syonyk? His reply sounds good, the a/f should be the same even though some exhaust leaks. By "mess up" the a/f reading, I mean "show an inaccurate" a/f reading, that's all. I like Syonyk's reply. Is he right?
