Exhaust can protector?

Does anyone make a ring that will protect the exhaust against occasional bumps + what not? I tried to search, but only found stuff about bumper protectors.

I know they make these for motorcycles so I was just curious.

Or I could try to make my own...

I'll have to get some stuff to make the CF. I already know its going to look like ****. But oh well.

So my general idea is to make something that goes over the larger part of the can for about 2", then shrinks to the smaller part of the can. Then I'll have a triangular part that leads the the hole for the silencer so I can screw it on that way. It will be form fitting to the exhaust as well.

I'm surprised no one makes these. Here's where I got the idea: http://www.rg-racing.com/browseType/...rs/EP0004.aspx

this is so if you scrape you destroy something else aside from your exhaust... but im sure nothing protects your car from stupidity... so i'd say drive carefully, save time and money.

or don't drop your car too low? I've never scraped my exhaust.

I just put on some dual N1's + I scraped coming out of my parents driveway. I'll probably raise my car up so that I don't scrape

It was just an idea though.
