past week my idle has been real goofy til the point it doesnt even idle and just instantly dies. when i would take off it would bog then go.
I know its not my mass air flow sensor
could it be my idle air control valve?? or fuel pump is shot??

Also where is the best place to find a idle air control valve for a decent price.Thanks

 

tps? im going to try and find a used tps and bac valve and try them first because im betting thats the cause . Is the Tps useable on a non turbo and turbo?

 

Your problem sounds to me like a garden variety vacuum leak. Before I'd go into replacing parts I would verify that there are no vacuum leaks. They can be a bitch to find. Check vacuum lines, gasket connections at the TB, UIM and LIM. Don't forget the fuel injectors.

 

It doesn't hurt to check the pins on the airflow sensor, umm so what actually happens is that it turns on able to rev and all but doesn't hold any idle? what were you doing first of all?

tps are the same for a non turbo and a turbo no difference between them.

it doesnt even stay running starts up instanly dies, im almost 90% positive i dont have any vaccum leaks , as for injectors those are ruled out. I unplugged the MAF still intantly stalled, im now thnking its either . TPS,BAC,FUEL PUMP after trying those 3 things if its not that then im not sure Ill have to go back to step 1 and start searching for a vacuum leak again.
