LOL... Hey listen stevo... this is what i'll be doing... i'll be going with a Bonez cat, and soon, i would like to purchase the RP catback dual muffler kit available at www.rx7.com ... it looks pretty sweet, and i dont think the price can be beaten at $399.
If anyone has a better suggestion, i'm all ears
Thanks

There are several options.
For quieter ones,
you'll have to run the exhaust manifold going into a downpipe (2.5inch - 3 inch). Then depending on if you need emissions, you can run a pre-silencer or a cat (either a regular one or a random tech one. There is no such thing as a high flow since they all need to provide the same amount of filtration. Random tech is good because it uses a better core).
Then depending on cash wise, you can either get a good cat back or a shitty one.

exhaust
Hey I just got the RB catback and Bonez superflo system. Put it on my 88 vert....not a bad setup. It is pretty loud....nice DRONE at 2-3k but all exhaust is like that pretty much from my observations...
I was not impressed with the exhaust (how it came shipped to me), as it was all banged up and I had to do some bending to ready it for my car. But that's another story.
On a coupe, I think it would have quite acceptable noise levels....with the top up on mine its not too bad and coupes have a real top.
And ya can't beat that price!
