Had my drivers side muffler with a little rust problems..
a lady rear ended me 2 weeks after i got the car and it bent the tip up a little where it was touching the bumper. After we got the car back running i saw that it had melted the bumper some and i kinda smashed it down w/my foot and it broke off lol. Went to the muffler shop today to get it fixed and they wanted 135 to replace the muffler. I asked how much to just make it 2 1/2" straight pipes no muffler they said 95. So i was like do it. I have an 86 my roomate has a 91 with intake. Aside from being as loud as my 2000 jetta vr6 with 3" high stainless cat back, It is now a little faster then his
. Now i am thinking about getting a intake also. Anyone think i will benifit much from an intake??

just to make you both feel better, nobody on the forum cares whos car is faster, nor do they care about your paint jobs etc..
all you have to do is buy a K&N cone filter and slap it on the AFM. if you have an S4, you need an adaptor (unfortunately)
