Exaust problem...please tell me wasup

this may have been posted b4, but it seems when i wartm up my car, it tends to rev to 1.5k then drops back to 700 then revs back up, then drop then revs, back up, then drops...etc....and its very noticable......

PS: i think i have an exaust leak from the headers, could that be the problem???
