Wasup guys! I'm new here.
My friend is looking for a 3rd Gen RX-7. He knows jack **** about car, so he asked me to help him look. He wants to sell his 2000(?) Mercedes CLK 230/320(?). He has a front lip and a rear valence on it. That thing is ugly.
Anyways, I need some help. I don't know a lot of stuff about the RX-7. I just gained interested in it last month. What should I look for or watch out for when I check out a used RX-7? Any problems I should know about? I want to find him an R2 or an R1. How can I tell of the car is an R1 or and R2? Are rebuilt engines and turbos bad? How abouts cars with new engines and new torbos? Are they OK?
I appreciate any help you guys can give me.
